We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join our award-winning team. Since arriving in 2004 we have been listed in The Good Food Guide, Michelin, Harden, Sawdays, The AA Pub Guide, The Good Pub & Beer Guides and featured in many national publications like The Times, FT, Guardian and Telegraph. We have some of the best bottled beers, wines, and spirits in East Anglia.
Traceability is key for us along with the human story of effort, excellence and creativity – these are our suppliers. As Sous Chef you will use different cooking techniques working with a charcoal fired Bertha and woodfired pizza oven (within a well-equipped kitchen) for example and drawing on the best that Suffolk has to offer - fish from local boats, West Mersea Oysters, Suffolk Pork, local game, organic pulses and beans to vegetables and herbs from our allotment. It is a great opportunity for you to demonstrate your talent and to create beautiful food with us.

We will also offer wine training via W.S.E.T courses, Beer Academy training, Business Management, Accounting and other skills for the budding entrepreneur.

Restaurant Manger (F/T Permanent)
Salary: Up to £30K compensurate with experience (+ Performance Bonus)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Restaurant Manager to deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
You will have experience of maintaining revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels taught by Helen Duddridge.
